Social Value Evaluation

Impact Count-up

The “Impact Count-Up” is an algorithm that automatically identifies the entire set of domestic social economy companies, enabling the measurement of business competitiveness and social value as potential investment targets for impact investing.

Mechanism

Certified Institutional Firms
These are social economy companies that have obtained institutional certifications. Company samples are selected through a customized screening process for each information source.
Social Venture-Recognized Firms
Companies recognized as social ventures are identified based on the Social Venture Recognition List by Korea Technology Finance Corporation, meeting both "social impact" and "innovation" criteria.
Potential Firms
To define potential social economy companies, key keywords for major SDG categories are identified, which are then used to find corresponding industries. Companies within those industries are then identified as potential candidates.
