[Sejong = Newspim] Reporter Lee Tae-sung = Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 21st that it held the final evaluation meeting for 'Innovation Makers (Innovation Makers) 'on the 20th to share digital transformation (DX) innovation achievements and select 3 outstanding collaborative startups.
“Innovation Makers”, which is now in its second year, is a KOTRA type open innovation program designed to solve current issues faced by KOTRA departments and agile organizations together with innovative technology startups.
KOTRA provides data and feedback necessary to solve problems, and participating startups play a role in presenting solutions to KOTRA's current issues by applying their own technology using it as a test bed.
At the final evaluation meeting held on the 20th, three companies, including ▲ Civentage, Antock, and Scone, which shared the results of each project and presented successful solutions through evaluations from internal and external judges, were awarded as outstanding collaborative startups.
Since July of this year, Civentage has provided 35,000 companies with ship backlog monitoring reports at 70 major ports around the world by creating a marine transportation information platform so that export companies can make rational logistics plans.
Antock automatically collected approximately 320,000 ICT projects from 30 major overseas sites through big data AI analysis platform technology, reducing collection time by 97% and implementing a customized project recommendation service for each company.
Scone has developed a 3D virtual influencer using KOTRA's mascot character “Globi.” In the future, KOTRA plans to enhance communication with customers by applying it to video content production.
Jeon Chun-woo, Head of KOTRA's Small and Medium Business Division, said, “Innovation Makers is a great opportunity to stimulate members' innovative ideas and streamline work processes,” and “We will continue to promote KOTRA's DX innovation while helping collaborative startups to demonstrate technology and create good references.”
