Patent Office contests 'Intellectual Property Data Startup Competition'... winning teams provide intellectual property data worth a total of 16 million won and 170 million won

The Patent Office will be recruiting participants for the “2024 Intellectual Property Data Startup Competition” (hereafter “Contest”) to discover creative business models and support start-ups using intellectual property (patent, trademark, design, etc.) data until May 14.

The competition targets all citizens with startup ideas using intellectual property data, and a total of 5 teams will be selected after the first document evaluation (May) and the second presentation evaluation (June), and a total reward of 16 million won will also be awarded along with the Patent Commissioner Award (3 teams) and the Korea Patent Information Service Award (2 teams).

The tournament began in '15. Among the winners so far AntockA total of 15 services have been launched, including the “Hubble Database,” a platform that can identify the competitiveness of companies by collecting and analyzing various data such as their intellectual property holdings and awards, and 111 patents, designs, and trademarks have been applied for and registered.
