The Korean government is expanding its support for startups leveraging public data, launching support centers in cities such as Seoul, Busan, Gangwon, and Daejeon. Open Square-D offers comprehensive support from startup incubation to global expansion for teams with innovative ideas.
The program is now showing visible outcomes. Fintech startup Antock, which had joined Open Square-D in Seoul, developed a financial and corporate analysis service by refining public financial data. It now provides services to seven major domestic financial institutions, including Woori Investment Bank and Golden Bridge Investment & Securities, and recorded annual revenue of KRW 180 million last year.
