Seoul participated in the 'Singapore Fintech Festival' (SFF), the world's largest fintech event held in Singapore with 15 promising domestic fintech companies, and operated the largest Seoul booth ever to promote innovative domestic financial technology to the world.
SFF is a fintech exhibition hosted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and is the largest fintech business event in the world, with 60,000 participants from 10,000 organizations from 134 countries. This year, it was held at the Singapore Expo for the past 6-8 days, and the Seoul Pavilion was located in Expo Hall 5.
Since it was first held in 2016, SFF has continued to introduce innovative financial services leading global fintech trends and has established itself as a leader in the global network of the fintech industry. Since 2022, the city has been leading global trends by participating in SFF events with innovative domestic fintech startups. The city has gone through a selection process for promising domestic fintech companies ahead of participating in SFF. Companies selected through a pre-competition competition are AI3, Meraki Place, BankX, SwitchOne, IP Shop, AntockThere are 15, including Watseop, One Line AI, One Cup, Wealth Guide, Infinite Block, CONNEXO H, Cubic, Funble, and Korea Securities Bank.
