<Interview with CEO Jaejoon Park Featured in Print Edition>
The company name Antock was created by combining “Ant (Ant)” and “Stock (Stock).” As the name suggests, it is a startup that provides stock information to ant investors.
“We're helping individual investors invest in a healthier way. It analyzes information that is easy to overlook, such as financial statements, and provides it in writing or infographics to make it easier to understand.”
Antock has reprocessed stock information, which used to be a list of technical terms and numbers, as easily as a picture book and provides it free of charge on its website. Antock's business model has achieved results such as investment from the Korea Social Enterprise Development Agency and Korea Information Technology Agency, and free data support from Coscom, etc.
What made CEO Park decide to start an Antock business? “When I was consulting, I felt limited in presenting a new perspective. I felt that in order to create new value and present a new perspective to the world, I had no choice but to create a company. My tendencies also played a big part in deciding to start a business. I enjoy doing creative work rather than chasing money or social status.”
