Hyundai Motor Jeong Mong-gu Foundation Hosts 'K-Startup Singapore Demo Day'

[Herald Economics, Reporter Yang Dae-geun] On the 25th (local time), Hyundai Motor's Jeong Mong-gu Foundation (hereafter, the Foundation) announced that it held an 'Impact Startup Singapore Demo Day' event for 70 VCs and impact investors from 8 of Korea's leading impact startups at Guoko Midtown in Singapore.

This demo day is for 8 teams of impact startups in the fields of environment, culture, leisure, and fintech selected from the “H-OnDream Startup Ground” project, which is the Foundation's representative start-up support project (2024 12th Haenyeo's Kitchen, Fielder Feel, Ugly Lab, 3 I Solution, OK, Maybe, OK, 11, 2023, 2019 8th Antock) It is estimated that it will gain a foothold to enter the Asian region, including Singapore.

A Foundation official stated, “We will continue to discover startups that contribute to solving social problems and focus on expanding related ecosystems based on the achievements of cultivating 334 teams, creating a survival rate of 84%, creating 5882 jobs, cumulative sales of 1.254 trillion won, and cumulative investment promotion of 305.4 billion won over the past 12 years.”
